The
2004 Congress was well attended. Everyone was pleased with the turn out and the
opportunity to meet with face to face with fellow breeders from abroad. It was
also a great opportunity to see the different operations, and how different
operations have been successful. Additionally, many commented on how diverse the
breed really can be, as the cattle have adapted and been genetically molded to
best suit different areas and markets.
The
2004 Congress was filled with Simmental breeders from all over the world who
came to meet fellow breeders and view the cattle. The show and the barns is a
great place to see both cattle and breeders. The 2006 Congress show takes place
at the Calgary Stampede Grounds July 15 and 16, 2006.
