DR. ALLAN A. DIXON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is set up in the memory of, and in recognition of, the tremendous service of Dr. Allan A. Dixon, President of the Canadian Simmental Association (1970-71 and 1974-75). Dr. Dixon passed away May 6, 1975. The Canadian Simmental Association Scholarship Plan is administered by the Canadian Simmental Association Scholarship Committee, whose interpretation of the regulations will be final.

This scholarship is set up in memory of Trevor Edward Vance, Barbara and Bennie Vance’s son. Trevor lost his life in a tragic accident on August 21, 1995. The Trevor Vance Memorial Scholarship is administered by the Canadian Simmental Bells Scholarship Committee, whose interpretation of the regulations will be final.

Procedures of Application for Scholarship

Application forms are available from the Canadian Simmental Association office. To request the application forms, please call, fax, or mail the CSA office so that an application form can be mailed to you. Completed application forms to be received by the office no later than October 1, 20067

Note: Please ask for ONLY ONE scholarship application form. All applications received will be eligible for the Dr. Dixon Memorial Scholarship. The applications of those persons not chosen as Dr. Dixon recipients will be given to the Trevor Vance Scholarship Selection Committee.
