The Young Canadian Simmental program is a multi-faceted gem in the Simmental crown. It is a starting point for many young cattlemen and women. This program enhances our breed and helps develop the future leaders of the cattle industry. It gives young people the opportunity to develop organizational skills, marketing strategies, cattle management and life long friendships. It brings families together in an environment that encourages cooperation and friendship.  The youthful enthusiasm that these young people bring provides a catalyst for many producers to get involved in everything from local fairs to national shows. It also encourages families from other breeds to become involved in the Simmental business. Our hat is off to the young people that have spent countless hours making the YCSA what it is today.
